Last week, Andrew spoke at the Florida Bar Tech Show “Riding the Technology Wave” in Orlando, Florida.
The Florida Bar Association recently created a “Tech CLE” (continuing legal education) requirement for every lawyer. Lawyers in other states are probably familiar with the idea of CLE, and are probably used to fulfilling a certain number of hours for classes designated to professionalism, ethics, and law practice management. The tech requirement adds to that list of classes needed to fit a certain purpose.
To help its lawyers meet that requirement, the Florida Bar added a “Tech Show” component to its Winter Meetings at the beautiful Gaylord Resorts Hotel in Orlando. The one and a half days worth of presentations were designed to be all about technology and efficiency. As someone who has presented on those topics several times, Andrew was invited to talk about Document Automation and Niche Marketing.
